For younger adults aged 20–35 without significant background disease: a long-term baseline from earlier in life.
You can join if:
- ✓You are aged 20–35
- ✓You have no significant background disease
- ✓You are a resident of Israel
Some medical conditions may exclude participation; the registration questionnaire checks this.
A younger reference group
Following healthy younger adults over time shows how health trajectories begin, long before any disease appears.
What you'll do and get
- Visit every 2 years
A 2 to 3 hour session of advanced testing at the Weizmann Institute, plus an annual phone check-in.
- Advanced tests
DNA, gut microbiome, glucose response, imaging, sleep and more, much of it unavailable elsewhere.
- Personal reports
Receive your own results over time, all free of charge.

What happens at the visit?
Each visit is a 2–3 hour session at the Weizmann Institute where our team runs a comprehensive set of medical and biological tests, including blood draws, imaging, microbiome sampling, and more.
How long is the study?
Project 10K is a long-term longitudinal study. Participants are invited back every two years for follow-up visits, with brief annual phone check-ins in between.
Is my data private?
Yes. All data is stored securely and de-identified before use in research. We follow strict data-protection regulations and never share identifiable information. See our Privacy page for full details.
