For Researchers
The Human Phenotype Project makes one of the world's most detailed health datasets available to the research community.
About the Cohort
A deeply-phenotyped cohort followed over time — built to let researchers ask new questions about the path from health to disease.
Each participant contributes thousands of measurements across clinical, molecular, imaging and behavioural domains, with repeat visits over the course of the study. The result is a longitudinal, multi-modal resource designed for discovery across the full health–disease continuum.
Cohort Profile & Methodology
How data is collected across each participant visit.
Standardised in-person assessments and physical measurements at each follow-up.
Lifestyle, diet, medical history and well-being surveys collected over time.
Comprehensive blood panels, metabolomics and other molecular assays.
Metagenomic sequencing of stool samples for microbial composition and function.
CGM monitoring capturing real-world glycaemic response over multiple days.
Body composition, cardiac and other imaging modalities per protocol.
Wearable-derived sleep, heart rate and physical activity records.
Repeated body measurements tracked across the longitudinal follow-up.
