Our agreement with you
Taking part is voluntary and built on clear, informed consent. These are the documents that describe the study, what you agree to, and how we keep you informed along the way.

Informed consent
Before you take part, you review the informed-consent form at your own pace, so you understand exactly what the study involves and what you’re agreeing to. You then sign it in person on the day of your visit, with the research team available to answer any questions.
Study protocol
The study is described in a peer-reviewed academic paper — the cohort profile that sets out the design, aims, and methods of Project 10K. If you’d like to understand the science behind what you’re joining, this is the primary reference.
Information leaflet
We keep participants informed with a regular newsletter covering study progress, findings, and practical updates. The latest edition is available as a PDF.
