You can join if:

  • You are a woman aged 18 or older
  • You have a clinical, imaging or surgical diagnosis of endometriosis
  • You are a resident of Israel

Some medical conditions may exclude participation; the registration questionnaire checks this.

Understanding endometriosis in depth

Deep phenotyping aims to uncover how endometriosis develops, how it is experienced, and how it can be better diagnosed and treated.

What you'll do and get

  • Visit every 2 years

    A 2 to 3 hour session of advanced testing at the Weizmann Institute, plus an annual phone check-in.

  • Advanced tests

    DNA, gut microbiome, glucose response, imaging, sleep and more, much of it unavailable elsewhere.

  • Personal reports

    Receive your own results over time, all free of charge.

What happens at the visit?
Each visit is a 2–3 hour session at the Weizmann Institute where our team runs a comprehensive set of medical and biological tests, including blood draws, imaging, microbiome sampling, and more.
How long is the study?
Project 10K is a long-term longitudinal study. Participants are invited back every two years for follow-up visits, with brief annual phone check-ins in between.
Is my data private?
Yes. All data is stored securely and de-identified before use in research. We follow strict data-protection regulations and never share identifiable information. See our Privacy page for full details.
